The ability for Tele-Communicators, as well as their managers, to recognize a person in crisis, effectively deal with his/her emotions and manage the emergency situation successfully is absolutely imperative. CIMT – created and facilitated by Lt. Kelly Devoll of the Georgetown, TX Police Department – is presented in a dynamic fashion and provides students with the information and skills necessary to improve their abilities for dealing with people in crisis immediately.
